A passion for education, technology, and entrepreneurship, rooted in an unshakable belief in Brazil’s human potential, led our founders to undertake this massively ambitious endeavor: building ITEC from the ground up.
Conceptualized by entrepreneur and philanthropist Cristiano Franco, ITEC's founders and funders include, in addition to Franco, entrepreneurs Marcelo Lacerda and Sérgio Pretto – pioneers of the commercial internet in Brazil – the Fundação Behring, and the Telles Foundation, both with a history of transformative investments in education.
